DAVID T. FREDRICK

David T., founder and bassman for the “NightMoves” project has been playing for over twenty years. His career started in Philadelphia, Pa. back in the eighties playing the local circuit, Atlantic City and New Jersey shore clubs. His style of music includes R&B, Jazz and Urban funk. Eventually starting his first R&B project called “Just Friends”. Performed at some of the jazz scene historic spots such as Zanibar, The Blue Moon as well as Penns Landing and the Mann Music Center. He has opened for international jazz artiest's, local and from other places such as Brazil. Ultimately, David t. relocated to the Washington, Maryland area where he started his next project, “NightMoves”. He has one current CD under this project called, “Rhythms of the Heart”. His style is smooth, cool and most definitely the bottom is up. The “NightMoves” project has some of this area most seasoned musicians bringing a fresh sound to what was already born from the days in Philadelphia. He says the music is contemporary but since his thing is to keep reaching, their music is heading towards a World Jazz venue. The musical style has a mix of latin, brazilian, aregenteni as well as a African rhythm. His influences range from Stanley Clark, Jaco Pastorius and Marcus Miller to name a few.
